Jesus himself testified
that a prophet has no honor
in his own country.
that a prophet has no honor
in his own country.
John 4: 44
I became a victim of character assassination. I never thought that in my seven years of leadership as a Parish Head Servant, a day will come when I will be subjected to such an ordeal and painful experience. This plot was initiated by the new leaders of the church who replaced me after my term of office ended. They are the very people whom I have trusted and considered as friends. I left my parish community with a wounded heart for it was my home.
The Galileans welcomed him,
having seen all that he had done
in Jerusalem at the feast,
for they too had gone to the feast.
John 4:45
My journey of love and friendship with the Lord continued and I was welcomed at the Feast. My tears where turned into joy for the Lord enabled me to overcome my brokenness. I rejoice in giving praises to my God for all the good things that He has done!
Father in heaven, thank you so much for leading me to your feast, a community of believers who place their trust in you. Here, you continue to nourish my growth, setting me apart for your divine will and purpose. Where ever you lead, I will follow in Jesus Name. Amen.
Thou hast turned for me
my mourning into dancing;
my mourning into dancing;
thou hast loosed my sackcloth
and girded me with gladness.
Psalm 30:11
